As you know, showing your work is the best way to get your name out there. I want to create epic content concepts, so you can walk away with an expanded portfolio and inspiration moving forward. I plan around 4 shoots during the retreat that are designed and styled just for you. From in-home shoots to outdoor adventure to full scale bridal set ups - I will do all the heavy lifting, you just get your dream content.
Build a community
Being a business owner can be lonely. Such a special part of all of our retreats are the connections you make and the life long friendships you leave with. Those who understand the ins and outs of this industry and can relate to the ups and downs. We attract "girl's girl" energy and nothing other than that!
RELAX! After all, it's a RETREAT!
Use this opportunity to relax, while still working.. afterall, that's all it feels like sometimes! My vision for these retreats are to capture the amazing content, but most of all... take some time away, for yourself! Enjoy a nice comfy bed all to yourself, a quiet relaxing shower with no kids or dogs in the background, enjoy your morning coffee with an epic view. Whatever your relaxation looks like, let's make it happen!

I'm Megan
I am an Idaho based photographer who loves to adventure and hopes to capture those genuine connections and raw emotions! I've lived in Idaho most of my life, but snuck away to Alaska for a bit while my husband was stationed there in the military. The outdoors is where I feel my most authentic self. You can find me in the mountains with my family, paddle boarding on the lake, roasting s'mores by the campfire and playing fetch with our goldendoodle and double doodle! I started my photography journey after returning from Alaska. I've always loved serving others and taking photos, so I decided to make this dream a reality! Now that my business is established, I was craving something more! I love being apart of this amazing community and bringing visions to life with other creatives.. that's how Candid Collective retreats was created!
